Join our rangers for a quick stroll utilizing the SkyGuide App. We will view some of the constellations around us and listen to some of the legends we tell of them.

Listen to tales the constellations around us while using the SkyGuide App to view them. We will be hiking along a flat, 1.6 mile roundtrip, portion of the Kiowa Trail. Make sure to download the free SkyGuide App before joining us.

Things You Should Know: 

• Meet: Kiowa Trailhead, at the far end of the Mack Dick Pavilion Parking Lot.
• Download: The free SkyGuide App.
• Bring: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes or boots (they will get sandy), plenty of water, weather appropriate, comfortable clothing.
• Cost: Included with admission to the park. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass(purchased before event).
