Bring an ultra-violet flashlight and join us in searching for scorpions along the trail in this evening hike!

After a brief overview of scorpions and how to look for them with a uv-flashlight, participants will join our rangers in hiking along the Paseo Del Rio Trail (Approximately 1 mile one way).

Things You Should Know: 

• Meet: At the Soapberry Day Use Area.
• Bring: Comfortable walking/hiking shoes or boots (they will get sandy), 1 liter of water per person per mile, weather appropriate clothing (jackets, etc.), a headlamp/flashlight, and a uv-flashlight if you have one .
• Cost: Included with admission to the park. Park admission is free with a Texas State Park Pass(purchased before event).
